About

Hi there, I'm Emillia!
Currently hailing from Jakarta, Indonesia. A populous, super busy, multi-faceted capital city of a sunny archipelago country right along the equator.

I'm your beauty enthusiast. I have always loved all things beauty, especially the more natural ones, and so this blog was created in 2014 as a channel to channel all my things beauty and lifestyle. *winkwink* Well, okay, thrown in here are also some thoughts and general interests.

Skin colour and type
Yellow undertone, rather pale. Pale. Rather on the dry side. Although, I have been genetically blessed with rather clear skin.

Hair type
Wavy, coarse, where those near the crown are frizzy and crakling dry. Due to these, I much prefer no-heat hair care and styling, as it's already dry as it is, I don't think they need more help.
These also has made me rather obsessed in looking for hair moisturising products and techniques.
I once tastefully acquired the habit of tugging (which some led to pulling off) those crunchy strands near the crown, and... they never grew back the same.
Something I wouldn't recommend; intentionally pulling off your hair.

Height and clothing and shoes sizes
I'm around 5'7"-5'8", your average-girl-like-Summer-Finn-if-you-know-what-I-mean. I wear mostly XS to M,  depending on the brand, and shoes sizes EU 37.

Beauty idea
I like the concept of natural beauty and natural beauty products. I think I learned this from my mum.
It doesn't mean I'm against makeup, though. If they make us feel amazing then why not?
My beauty religion, if any, would be; simple, subtle, whenever more convenient go natural, mostly heatless, and minimal product hoarding.

With posts on products
Hair care, skin care, and other 'care' products will be used continuously for a week before I write about them. Whereas, other products, e.g. makeup products, nail polishes, will be used at least 3 times before I write about them. Fair enough

'Your accent?'
Stayed in Sydney, Australia for a year and too much period dramas / BBC documentations binging.
English is definitely not my first language. Most of the times I think I sound like a weird hybrid of my every English language encounters.

If you have any other questions let me know. I'd try my best to answer them.
